Please join us at the Berkeley-Haas Sacramento Symposium on Wednesday May 17th!
This is the inaugural marquee event hosted by the Berkeley-Haas Alumni Network of Sacramento.
The event will be held at the California Museum, 1020 O Street, Sacramento, CA
BUILDING A BRIDGE TO GROWTH
The greater Sacramento area is California’s best-kept secret. Over the last 10 years the City of Sacramento has transformed itself and is on the path toward being recognized as California’s innovation corridor with a world-class talent base.
With UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, a “Top 10” business school less than 80 miles away from the heart of Sacramento, this event seeks to build a bridge between the school and regional alumni to promote professional development and business growth.
EVENT OVERVIEW
The highlight of the evening will be a “fireside chat” between Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg and Greater Sacramento Economic Council CEO Barry Broome, moderated by Dave Sanders (Haas MBA ’76), founder and Managing Partner of WorldBridge Partners.
The event will also feature a video introduction by Rich Lyons, Dean of the Haas School of Business and a formal welcome by Haas Professor of Economics Benjamin Hermalin.
Appetizers and drinks will be provided at a networking reception following the formal program. Please check back for additional details and to purchase tickets. We will also post updates to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/haasalumnisacramento/)
This is a must attend event for the business community and Berkeley-Haas alumni in the greater Sacramento region!
