We are pleased to invite Haas alumni to a special event in Sacramento featuring Award-winning Economics Professor Ben Handel. Ben will lead a talk on behavioral economics and health insurance markets. This talk will explore the challenges that consumers face in making health insurance choices and in utilizing the insurance they choose. The talk will include a discussion on the impact of cornerstone health policies such as the Affordable Care Act and Medicare on health insurance choices and utilization.
